The engine allows us to assess the impact of multiple factors over the project’s lifespan, including commercial use, battery storage capacity, and degradation over time. It offers in-depth insights into capital allocation, running costs, system degradation, and sustainable energy supply.
The chart below highlights the prospect to increase a client’s income (by up to 68%) by “right sizing” a battery (or system of batteries) in relation to the size of the solar farm generating the energy (assessing all capital and operating costs). The price per kilowatt hour (KWh) demand versus generated is shown on the y-axes, while the data is provided in 15-minute time slots on the x-axes.
